The name Tar Heel Shooter comes from two different things. First, Tar Heel comes from the great state of North Carolina. North Carolina is not known for trapshooting. Not many people know what trapshooting is. This website gives links above to those people that wish to learn more about trapshooting. The name Shooter comes from being a target, shooting competitor. Since I was 10 years old, i've been shooting a shotgun, and trying to promote a positive image on gun sports. Trapshooting is a great way to relieve stress, be with friends, and a great way to spend time outside. Not only is trapshooting a recreational sport, but it is also a competitive sport. Anyone can shoot trap. To shoot trap, it does not matter who much you weigh, what gender you are, age, or even if you are handicapped.
